Here at Emmaus Lutheran Church, we know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what your life’s story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That’s why we proclaim that we can not stop speaking about what we have seen and heard!

A first visit should answer three questions: when, how long, and where to park. Here they are.

When

Sundays at 10:30 a.m. One gathering. Downtown on the Old West Side.

How long

About 60 minutes. A mix of contemporary and traditional music, led by the worship team.

Where

420 W Liberty St, inside St. Paul Lutheran Church. Everyone is welcome.

What Sunday feels like

Trying a new church can be hard. We are glad you are considering us.

Worship is about an hour. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional music. There is a children’s message during the service. During the school year, you are invited to stay after for a meal and fellowship.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Kids are part of Sunday

Children stay with you for worship, and they are welcomed up front for a short children’s message. You do not need to have it all figured out before you walk in.

You will not be left standing alone

Emmaus is a community where people are seen, heard, and loved. Come as a guest. Say hello on the way in, or write ahead if you would rather know a face first.

Where to park

Emmaus meets inside St. Paul Lutheran Church at 420 W Liberty St.

There is a small lot on the northwest side of the building. More parking is across the street at the Youth House, 500 W Liberty. On Sundays, free public parking is on Krause Street and in the lot at the end of the street.
